i WAS LISTENING TO TAPOUTLIVE ON 3.23.09 AND HEARD HOW YOU COULD NOT HELP IT BUT CHUCKLE (IN A GOOD WAY) AT THE WAY MASK’S LIFE ENDED..THE MAN ABOVE WAS READY FOR HIM AND KNEW THAT THIS TRULY IS HOW MASK WOULD’VE WANTED IT. ALL HE DID IN LIFE WAS WITH A BIG BANG, TO THE WAY HE LEFT THIS WORLD!. LIKE YOU SAID, HE WAS A MARKETING GENUIS- KEEP DOIN YOU..PA(THIS IS WHAT OUR KIDS CALL YOU CAUSE THEY CAN’T SAY PUNKASS) AND sKRAPE. i AM GLAD WE GOT TO MEET YOU ALL. I KNOW BIG THINGS ARE STILL TO COME AND WE JUST CAN’T WAIT!!!!

Thanks so much for getting back into the public eye, especially visiting grappling events like Grappler’s Quest. You can’t move two feet at a grappling tournament without seeing Tapout gear. Seeing you and Skrape out there helps all of us cope and remember Mask.
You guys are awesome. Thanks for keeping the dream alive. Not only for yourselves but for everyone whos lives you have touched. I know that there are a lot more lives that need your support. So many folks out there are living a dream thanks for what Tapout has done for them.
just found about the tragedy tonite,all i can say is life begins when you die.i still fell sick about the lost of a great person i know in my heart he’s alredy has a nickname for a lot of pepole in heaven god bless you

…I was watching the UFC fight night on SpikeTV and between Scrape and Punkass there was the empty chair on wich Mask was used to seat…
We ALL miss YOU Mask and forever will…
We must be strong and remember his “motto” as a way to respect and honor his memory: “To Quit Doesn’t Exist”.
Thank You Mask for all you have done for everybody

I can’t imagine a great person like mask had left us so early in his life. It is a shame to see just a genious like mask leave us at such an early age. god bless you all and keep the great mask’s wish alive and continue forward.time heal’s all although it’s heard at times ,reminder he is always in our hearts and looking down apon us. For punkass and the whole tapout crew,it must be so hard to have like a brother pass, but you and all must move forward for this is what he would what. God bless you all.
Man I know as hard as this is, DREAMS NEVER DIE ! I was glad to see Punkass & Skrape at Fight Night Live in Nashville 4-1 09. Good to see the smiles & laughter haven’t been dampened by Masks passing. TAPOUT 4 LIFE ! ! !
It is hard to gather the words that would even come close to whome mask ( Lewis ) was… The inspriation of you three showed everyone just how far team work can go… Masks personality and his choice to believe not just in himself but to all others and did it proudly With Great Rewards Word Wide.. I am indeed heart broken and i will greatly miss him , However because he had so much love .. We all get to share the legacy and continue to support Punkass and Skyscrapper aswell as Iceman and Dana God Speed MASK..SEMPER FI……
I feel dumb asking but how did mask pass?It made me sick to hear it tonight.I”m a grandma an I thought he was just the coolest.God Bless Punkass and skrape
RIP MASK. I’m just a fan of the sport but my heart hurts for all of us who lost such a great person. God bless all of you guys at Tapout, see you april 14 and keep Mask in our thuoghts and priers.
My son and I were so saddened to hear of Mask’s tragic accident. You guys have to keep his and your dreams alive. His legacy is kept alive by you and you will take Tapout to the top of even HIGHER mountains!
Saddened by your loss .. and realize how tough it is in life at times … I know you miss your partner and friend … for he brought balance or unbalance to what you guys are accomplishing even now .. and that was a good thing .. Hope all goes well in the future … with your brand … goals .. dreams etc …
