Mask was a great dude even if i never met him but the one thing he did for me is inspirer me and to follow my dreams and to never quit but this is a big loss for you and me punkass and skyskrape keep your heads high and keep the dream alive my prayers go out to the tapout family and Mask REST IN PEACE CHARLES MASK LEWIS ALWAYS REMBERED NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN MASK IS NOT GONE HE WATHES OVER US AND HE WILL REMAIN IN OUR HEARTS AND SOULS
Peace! I don’t know if Charles Lewis is from the ghetto, or not but in the hood we have ghetto philosophers that inspire the youth. Charles Lewis is a bonefide mystic that inspires the youth all over the world from all walks of life to believe in them selves. A solder has fallen, but his work, and words will live on in all of us. Charles Lewis has fallen forward into the divine as we must one day. Just let us believe, and apply what we believe to leave a legacy of inspiration for the youth as vast as his. A Tribute to an OG of MMA.

To the family of Charles ‘Mask’ Lewis Jr., Punkkass, and Skyscrape….My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. It was once said that “the good die young” and obviously was the case here. Although, I never new him or the rest of you personally, I used to watch the ‘Tapout’ shows on the ‘versus’ channel and was able to see what type of people you all were. It was nothing but positive, optimistical, and all about having fun no matter what the circumstances were (as was shown on T.V.). It’s a shame to see such a positive outgoing man with such a powerful influence on people to pass away so soon before his time. God says that everything happens for a reason. I believe in my heart of hearts that he’s in a better place now and all of you who were closes to him will see him again in heaven some day, as I believe. God Bless you all (Tapout Crew and family) as a fan and supporter. He will never be forgotten!!

I remember when I first saw the TapouT crew. I saw Mask and Scrape and I thought to myself, ‘Who are these idiots and why does the other guy put up with them?’ Then I started watching the TapouT show and saw how real and honest Charles was about what he was doing. He was touching people on a deeper level than what his image conveyed and through that I found a deep respect and admiration for what he was doing, as well as Scrape and yourself. I saw deeper than what the pictures showed and with heart felt admiration, I say thank you for being more than an image.
I believe that Mask was such a great man and had such a strong spirit that his legacy and the TAPOUT name will live on , even through our children . RIP MASK !
