MMA would not be what it is today with out MASK, PUNKASS AND SCRAPE. Tapout helped Make MMA, brought it up from the bottom and showed everyone what it could be. Mask is MMA. He is the real deal. The guy that started out fighting and went out on top. There is no other more recognized Fight Brand out there than Tapout. There is no other more recognizeable face in MMA than Mask. Rest in Peace Mask. Thanks for everything you did for the sport and for everyone that loves it. You will be rememberd forever. Always BELIEVE. Always REMEMBER.

What can be said except that there is an empty space in this world that will never be filled again. Having lost friends in tragic ways, I can understand the emotions, the sadness, the heartache. In my heart of hearts, I would have to say that Charles would not want his dream to pass with him. Punkass and Skrape, build this dream and have it as his legacy. MMA owes you guys so much. Without you, it would not be where it is today. We believe in what he believed. What you believe. We see you as family. We mourn with you and support you with out thoughts and prayers. Believe, that is what he said. We, believe in you.

I sat down to watch yet another self-recorded fight, and immediately my jaw dropped. “MASK” had passed on. He has brought so much showmanship to MMA. More than that, he brought his passion and creativity. He just seemed part of the landscape of MMA. I cannot imaging the sport without him. But the fighting spirit is what kinda makes us all family and we will all press on. To his friends and family I am deeply sorry for your loss as it must dwarf the loss we feel.

  14. Brett says:

Mask is in a better place and making St. Peter crack up with his hyena-like laugh. I loved watching the show and seeing all three of you do the good things you did for all of the many fighters that must be heart broken as well.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy and grief to you Punkass and Skyscrape. You must be beyond grief and I don’t even know what to say to you? I wish I could hug you both and share the grief I feel and talk about the grief you must be enduring.

I see the great things you do and it inspires me to do great things. I proudly have Tapout on my truck in deveral places and I buy merchandise because I know ,y money is going to a great group of people! I will continue to buy and continue to be in awe of the true giving and sheer emotion you put into this sport we both love.

I hope to meet you some day if you’re ever in CT and just tell you what an amazing human being you are and Skyscrape as well. Keep the dream alive and if I can EVER do ANYTHING to help, in any way, never hesitate to ask!

    Brett
